DENVER, COLORADO (Feb. 12, 2024)—Businessolver®, a leading provider of benefits technology and services, released a major update to their mobile benefits application, MyChoice. This new experience was crafted with a deep understanding of the emotional journey employees undergo while navigating their benefits. Businessolver’s dedication to delivering an empathetic experience was reflected in this latest update which not only meets the needs of employees in their physical and financial well-being but also drives tangible results for their employers, fostering greater engagement and activation of benefits.
“Seamless, intuitive mobile platforms not only enhance accessibility to benefits but also catalyze transformative solutions, ensuring that the future of benefits is not just accessible, but truly empowering,” said Rae Shanahan, Chief Strategy Officer at Businessolver. “And at Businessolver, these designs and experiences are rooted in empathy and science. Hundreds of hours of research went into this redesign to ensure that we were bringing the most impactful experience forward for the people who matter most, the employees.”
In response to valuable user feedback, this enhanced design of the mobile app delivers increased support for the employee in several core areas:
The redesign goes a step further by bolstering employee financial well-being. It prioritizes the placement of their spending and saving accounts through Businessolver’s proprietary solution, prominently featuring a financial snapshot at the forefront of the app design. Employees with an FSA or HSA are power users to the application, they are seven times more likely to access the app throughout the month, and this enhancement allows them to fully take advantage of those accounts while allowing employers to gain greater visibility to other critical programs they provide like telemedicine, well-being or care management programs.
Our commitment to this transformation is bolstered by positive user testing outcomes, exemplified by a 40% improvement in employees managing their FSA or HSA claims within the holistic app experience. These key changes reaffirm our dedication to advancing the consumer experience.
“This redesign was built around understanding the emotions and experiences an employee is going through when they are using their benefits,” said Kimberly Dunwoody, VP of Member and User Experience at Businessolver. “Whether they are having a baby, considering retirement, needing to seek emergency medicine or wanting to understand their account balances, my team mapped the benefits journey end to end to ensure the new design delivered an empathetic experience that drives results for the employee, and ultimately the employer in creating greater benefits activation results.”
The updated MyChoice Mobile App further extends Businessolver’s commitment to ensuring we put the employee first, because we know better technology, enables better service and benefits delivery.
