H&W: Mental Health Parity Final Rule

On November 8, 2013, final rules on the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA) were issued that contain some clarifications regarding the statute’s protections. The final regulations generally apply to group health plans and health insurance issuers offering group health insurance coverage for plan years beginning on or after July 1, 2014.
