HR tech leader expands remote office into a regional hub, with plans to continue hiring over a three-year period, its Denver workforce increased from 30 to more than 160 employees
WEST DES MOINES, IOWA (September 19, 2017) โย Businessolver, a leader in SaaS-based benefits administration technology, is celebrating the third anniversary of its Denver office. Since its opening in 2014, the companyโs Denver location has evolved from a remote office to a regional hub.
Over a three-year period, Businessolver leaders in Denver have focused on expanding the companyโs talent base, enhancing client services, driving product innovation, and fueling business growth: the Denver team has grown from 30 to more than 160 employees, a 433 percent increase. In August, Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper recognized Businessolver as one of the fastest-growing companies in the state.
Although originally focused on sales, talent at the Denver hub has since diversified to include senior-level hires who lead national teams of employees focused on participant services, client success and operations, product and technology development, and marketing and communications.
Amid the locationโs rapid growth, the team has never lost sight of Businessolverโs unique culture. Like Businessolverโs other offices, Denver employees enjoy an open office space that drives collaboration, complimentary catered meals, the flexibility and freedom to enjoy the outdoors, and a bounty of opportunities to get involved in the community.
The Denver team is particularly dedicated to philanthropy, supporting organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House and raising more than $10,000 participating in the Courage Classic, a two-day mountain-bike race benefiting Childrenโs Hospital Colorado.
โIn the three years since we opened the Denver office, weโve expanded our Solver family with incredible talent, grown our business by continuing to deliver delight to our clients, and shown our commitment to the community by getting involved and giving back,โ said Josh Holman, Vice President of Client Engagement at Businessolver and founder of the Denver hub. โAs a Denver native, Iโm humbled that an organization Iโve dedicated my career to can make such an indelible impact on my hometown.โ
Looking ahead, Businessolver plans to expand both the physical footprint of the Denver office and double the size of the local team; its hiring trajectory is already on track to have more than 200 Denver-based employees in 2018.
โThe war for talent is highly competitive, with recruitment and retention ranking as a top concern for many leaders. Our Denver team is a great example of how a growth mindset, commitment to client delight, and strong culture are critical to building a successful company,โ said Jon Shanahan, President and CEO at Businessolver. โDenver is a booming market and an important regional hub for us. Weโre thrilled with the teamโs progress and excited about our future there.โ
